About Me

Hi there! My name is Bailey and I am an independent tutor in the Tustin area. As an elementary school student, I struggled with math and had an F average by the time I graduated from 6th grade. My parents decided to hire a math tutor in the summer to help me prepare for 7th grade math. I went from an F in 6th grade to an A+ Student of the Month in 7th grade. Having one-on-one learning with a tutor helps students gain confidence, feel supported and encouraged, and find their strengths in learning. For me, it was seeing that I could master one concept and build upon that to master the next. The road to learning involves bumps and turns, slow downs, and even running out of gas. But having a tutor keep you on track is sometimes the motivation your student needs to get kickstarted into the next gear. I have a passion for giving students the extra help they need to gain competence in a struggling subject and find the value in learning! For the last 7 years I have had the privilege of working as a coach, a private swim instructor, and a tutor of Public, Charter, and Homeschool students.
